Ahmed Sangaré

Ahmed is the Manager of Totem Architects and is responsible for the company’s daily administration. After earning his degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from the African School of Architecture and Urban Planning in Lomé in 2010, he joined ARCOFOR, an architectural design firm. There, he advanced successively from the role of Project Architect to Head of Architectural Production, and then to Director of the Abidjan Agency.

In 2015, Ahmed co-founded Totem Architects with Sionfougo Soro. Accredited by the Order of Architects of Ivory Coast and a member of the International Association of Urban Planners, Ahmed is passionate about engaging in debates and exchanging ideas on both current urban issues and future challenges facing human settlements. In 2021, he was appointed to the Dezeen Awards jury in the Architecture category.
