Totem Architects has been appointed to take over the construction project of an office building, which is nearing completion of its main structural phase. The change in ownership of the building necessitates the reconfiguration of its internal spaces to accommodate the needs of the new client.

As a result, the revised project creates more transparent internal spaces and open-plan offices from predominantly partitioned individual offices. This reorganisation is made particularly challenging by a somewhat chaotic distribution of structural elements that the current building has inherited from a previous project. Totem Architects’ proposal, in close collaboration with a structural engineering firm, is a modern three-storey office building capable of housing 6 independent-functioning SMEs.
