Aquamarine Estate

The Aquamarine project entails refurbishing the primary building of a private estate situated in Assinie, establishing three new independent living areas and two guest pavilions. Positioned between the tranquillity of the lagoon and the delightful activity of the sea, the site boasts a stunning oceanic landscape. The client spends weekends there to revitalise in the fresh air, away from the hustle and bustle of Abidjan. The architectural approach has emphasised outdoor spaces to enable the client to appreciate nature during this weekly respite. Each building block features a spacious terrace sheltered by ample roof overhangs. Two sizeable swimming pools cater to these terraces: one on the seaside and the other on the lagoon side. Owing to full-height glass windows, the living spaces function as indoor extensions of the terraces, extending moments of contemplation of nature.
